Peach Brandy Sauce

This Peach Brandy Sauce is simple to throw together and tastes amazing when topped on ice cream or pork chops! It's so versatile!
  • 1 pound fresh, ripe peaches, cut into pieces, pit removed
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  1. Rinse peaches under cold water. Cut in half, then in small pieces and discard pit.
  2. Add water and brandy to a saucepan. Add peaches, nutmeg and 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Turn on medium-high and heat until boiling and simmering at the edges of the pan. Turn heat down to medium and let simmer for 8 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
  3. Serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to us.
