These oven Baked French Fries are easy to make, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and are ready in <30 minutes.

Baked French Fries - inspirationkitchen.comMy friends have been ‘hinting’ (hounding?) me to make a cookbook. The thought, although appealing, is more than my schedule can handle right now. But, what I can tell you is, the cookbook would have to include french fries.

These Baked French Fries are so incredibly easy to make, and so tasty, they are perfect for a busy weeknight. Depending on how many you need to feed, it’s just russet potatoes sliced in french-fry-sized slices, then sprayed with cooking spray and adding your desired spices. After 25-30 minutes in the oven, you have fries that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Fries can totally be dinner, right? 🙂

Baked French Fries - inspirationkitchen.comWhen making these fries, try to keep your fry cuts as uniform as possible. This will help them cook evenly. Or, if you’re like me… you can cut some small ones so you get crispy bits too. Crispy bits are my favvvvv!

When The Husband and I go out to dinner, I dig to the bottom to get all the tiny fries that are extra crispy, a little overdone, and to me… the most delicious. You all know how much I love crunch, and other than potato chips – fries are right up there in the crispiness!

Who says YUM to crispy fries?

Baked French Fries - inspirationkitchen.comAs you can tell, I was overly generous with my seasonings. Dial the spice to your taste. I always assume that some is going to fall off or bake off of the fries while they’re in the oven, especially when I flip them midway through the cooking time.

These happened to be spiced just right!

What you’ll love about these fries is: (a) you won’t miss that they aren’t fried in oil, (b) they stay crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and (c) you can enjoy delicious fries at home that are simple to make.

With some Fry Sauce on the side, they’ll be so good, they may be the only thing you serve for dinner! 🙂

Enjoy!
