This Christmas Stovetop Potpourri is sure to bring warm, loving memories to your holiday.
What is your favorite holiday scent?
I’m posting this early so that I could share this amazing Christmas Stovetop Potpourri with you. I want your house to smell as amazing as mine will on Christmas Day.
Your entire family will love it, and it’s so easy!
This is a great {and easy} recipe for the kids to make. They get to peel oranges (the recipe only uses the peel – so they can enjoy the fruit inside), mixed with water, cinnamon sticks, cloves and fresh cranberries. That’s it! 5 simple ingredients. Who doesn’t love an easy recipe in the crazy busy of the holidays?
Then the saucepan is put on the stove, brought to a boil, then turned down to simmer.
You will be blown away by how amazing the fragrance is! It will fill your entire house with the fragrance of Christmas!
We are huge fans of having our house smell lovely all the time. And, you all know my love of Scentsy products!
With this DIY fragrance, you won’t need your Scentsy on! This fragrance will waft throughout the entire house – up the stairs and seep wonderfully into every room with the scent of Christmas.
For all my friends and readers, with this recipe, I wish you the happiest of the holidays! My wish for you is that this Christmas brings you love, good health and happiness!

I have all of these ingredients in the house, so I am totally making this today! I wonder if I can mix the “juice” with some bourbon and simple syrup when it’s done making the house smell divine??? 😉
Kristi says
Oh my gosh Melanie, the bourbon and simple syrup sounds fantastic! Let me know how it turned out. I would love to try this!
