This festive, bold, and bright Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail will lighten your party up! With its tart, sharp, crisp flavor, this celebratory drink will bring fun, great color and a pop of flavor to your holiday.

Bring on the holidays!  Every where I go, I hear the sleigh bells jingling, and there’s ring ting tingling too. The holidays are here as bold, as bright and as festive as they always are.

Which means it’s time for celebration, with family and friends. Inspiration Kitchen raises a toast to all of you wishing you a happy, healthy and harmonious holiday season.

And with that toast, I’m bringing you a cocktail today that will not only bring you a beautiful pop of color, but a pucker to your kisser – I hope you are under the mistletoe. 🙂

As you all know, I don’t often write cocktail posts. But special occasions call for special festive beverages, and I’m always experimenting with new flavors that will bring the cheer to my holiday. This is one of those. But I must tell you…

This Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail is not for the faint of heart. Nor, is it for someone with a sweet tooth. But, don’t worry! If this recipe is not sweet enough for you – I have some variations to this that I think that you will love.

Now on to the cranberry lovers!  If you lovvvvve Cranberry juice – the real stuff – then, you are going to love this! It’s simply two ingredients: Cranberry Juice and Prosecco.

It’s crisp, tart, dry, and it has that bite-y, tangy, sharp flavor that is so classically cranberry.

Now, if you’re totally into mimosas, but can’t get into the swing of cranberry, here are a few easy ways to mellow and tone down the tart nature of this festive beverage.

Sweet Variations for this Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail, add:

  • orange juice
  • pineapple juice
  • sweetened cranberry juice
  • simple syrup

The deep, rich color that you see in the photos are because in this recipe, I used a high quality 100% premium cranberry juice that had all natural ingredients, no preservatives and no artificial colors. Just remember that if you do opt to go for a sweeter version, your color will likely not be the same. Still tasty, but not that dark color! 🙂

Enjoy!

Thank you Marcie! I really like to switch it up when it comes to holiday cocktails, and sometimes the sweet drinks just won’t do! 🙂
