Montreal Steak Seasoning + $300 Amazon Giveaway

This Montreal Steak Seasoning is the perfect seasoning for grilled steaks.  A copycat of the Montreal Steak Seasoning you can buy in the store for a fraction of the cost!

Are you ready for a $300 Giftcard Giveaway before Christmas?

But first before we get to that…  Help me!  I can *not* get these Christmas lyrics out of my head:

Just hear those sleigh bells jinglin’, ring ting tinglin’ to…
Come on…, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you

…like a broken record that I can’t turn off, over and over.  Ugh!   So, although I love the song, I’m telling you, so that hopefully the lyrics will transfer from my head to yours.  They need a new mother ship, you know?   Any takers?  🙂

Montreal Steak Seasoning | Inspiration KitchenLyrics aside, I have two exciting things for all of you today.

  1. a FABulous $300 Amazon Giftcard Giveaway for one lucky winner  +
  2. a great homemade gift idea for the friend/family member that has everything!

First, let’s talk about the Giveaway!  Me and 17 other amazing food bloggers got together to give our loyal readers the chance to win a $300 Amazon Giftcard for the holidays!  All you need to do is enter for a chance to win.  To increase your chances, follow each of these incredible women on Pinterest and Instagram.

p.s. please don’t forget to see the Giveaway Rules!

Second, let’s talk about Steak Seasoning!  During the hustle and bustle of the holidays, sometimes the quickest and easiest soluton to getting dinner on the table is to throw a steak on the grill and toss a large salad.  Done and done!

For us, there’s not much better than sinking our teeth into a perfectly seasoned grilled steak with a light side salad.  The key to great flavor is in the seasoning ~ and getting the right blend that brings out the savory flavors of the meat.

Which brings me to the gift idea!

Seasonings make great gifts for the holidays.  Because, store-bought seasonings are expensive!

Yet, you can make them for a fraction of the cost at home, and they make a great gift when packaged into gift jars with homemade labels.  What you’ll love about making your own seasonings is, that you can make them specific to your own taste.  For example, you can cut down on the salt, increase the heat with red pepper flakes or add an additional ingredient that takes the seasoning from ahhhhh-that’s-good to ahhhhh-that-is-simply-ahhhhhMAZING!

So, as you’re planning your holiday gifts, keep in mind that this spice mix makes an easy and great stocking stuffer.  Or, for the more ambitious,  make 3 different seasonings (steak, chicken, fish) and package them as a set for a beautiful, unique gift!

I love the idea of making your own steak seasoning and giving this as a gift or stocking stuffer. It’s something so many people would appreciate and love. And sure, it’s fun making desserts as gifts, but I find sometimes people actually get mad when you bake treats for them because their on a diet or have specific dietary requirements. This is something that anyone could use and would love! Thanks for sharing.

I love this! Montreal Steak Seasoning is one of my faves, but I’m sure the store bought versions have some weird preservatives in them. Love being able to make it myself… and you’re right, this WOULD be a fun gift!!
