As many of you get ready for the unofficial start of summer, I wanted to bring you an easy, fun, kid-friendly recipe for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.
Meet Peanut Butter & Jelly and Meatballs.
Whaaaaat? I know!
It sounds crazy, but they are surprisingly good, and your kids will love them!
Because I know that all moms and pops might not be over the moon to have peanut butter and jelly meatballs for lunch, I gave you two versions of thisrecipe.
In one, I amped up the flavor profile of the adult-version, by adding a spicy, serrano chile pepper and extra sriracha sauce. The addition brings together that flavorful spicy/sweet combination we all love so much! This version has a delightful, warm, spicy, belly-warming taste that amps up that comforting PB&J taste you remember from your childhood, yet with a delightful, spicy twist!
It doesn’t get much better than that!
And, the kid-friendly version of this sauce has a rich, thick, chocolatey taste that kids will love!
This recipe is rich! So, you {might} not want to have it as a meal, and keep it as a rich appetizer instead.
I made this recipe in a skillet on the stovetop, but there’s no reason this couldn’t be made in a crockpot and served at parties or a picnic.
Totally kid-friendly, this is a great grab-and-go recipe for adults and kids on the run.
Enjoy!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Meatballs by Inspiration Kitchen are fantastic! My husband was skeptical at first, but quickly got on board after licking the spoon when I finished mixing the heated sauce. This dish is now our Go-To dish to take to potlucks and office parties. It’s always a favorite with everyone.
Oh my God Becky says
Oh my heavens! Saying amazing would be an understatement. I used peanut butter powder to try and cut down on fat and calories. Id rather garnish with sesame seeds. I adjusted the sweetness a bit to my liking. I am blown away. Thanks so much for sharing
