Can you tell that I am completely tripping on camping lately?
Just last week, I wrote about 5 Alarm BBQ Hot Sauce, 3 Bean Salad and Chocolate Stout & Marshmallow S’Mores Bars. What is this obsession with camping and picnics?
I’m telling you – this beautiful weather has me camp-crazy – craving all portable, packable, predictable recipes to haul to the endless family picnics and weekend camp trips.
So, isn’t it perfectly natural for me to want to bring you some of my all-time predictable family favorites that I know won’t disappoint and are real crowd-pleasers?
Which brings me to this Restaurant Coleslaw.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve turned to this recipe for a BBQ or a family get together. I would even venture to say that this is {asclose} to the infamous Kentucky Fried Chicken coleslaw recipe that you’ll find.
It has just the right amount of sugar without it being to sweet and the carrots, cabbage coleslaw with the extra onions makes it really crispy and crunchy, which is such a great compliment to the creamy tartness of the salad dressing.
No need for a trip to KFC for coleslaw this time.
Nuh uh…
You got your coleslaw right here.
