Thank you Bon Appétit Pizza and Gnarly Head Wine for partnering with me in sponsoring this post!
You guys are going to love me for this post. You’ve told me again and again how you love delicious, quick and easy weeknight meals. The good news is, we’ve got your quick, easy and delicious pizza, salad and wine combo right here. 🙂 And, you are going to love it.
I know you love when I share new products I’ve discovered, and this Bon Appétit Pizza is one of them.
Let me introduce you to the new-on-the-market, gourmet pizza made with 100% real cheese and sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes. Not only does it give these pizzas incredible flavor, but they’re easily prepared straight from the freezer, and can be either oven-baked or grilled.
When Bon Appétit Pizza reached out and asked if I wanted to try their new pizza, I was anxious to see if a store-bought pizza could stack up against a thin crust homemade pizza.
Let me assure you, after tasting it the 1st time – I was sold on the fresh ingredients and crispy crust.
Since my conversation with them over 1 1/2 months ago, we’ve loved this pizza so much, we’ve had it nearly a dozen times. Now, that’s good pizza. 🙂 And I had to share this goodness with you.
Here is the Bon Appétit Pizza fresh out of the freezer and box. I love that it’s filled with so many colorful vegetables. And you know how much I love thin crust! Now, when I’m short on time, I’m so glad to have discovered a flavorful, thin crust pizza, so I don’t have to make my own.
Their new product line comes in 5 delectable flavors: Mozzarella & Pesto, Roasted Vegetable, Spinachi, Pepperoni & Pesto and Trio Bacon, that will make you rethink frozen pizza because of it’s fresh ingredients and incredible flavor.
The only flavor I haven’t had a chance to try (it’s not in my stores) is the Trio Bacon. Now, you all know how much we love our meat around here – but the Roasted Vegetable and Mozarella & Pesto Pizzas have completely stole my heart.
The first time I had the Mozarella & Pesto, I was blown away by the incredible, fresh flavor of the cherry tomatoes and basil pesto. Fabulous! And the Roasted Vegetable is so fresh and filled with crunchy vegetables that I had to make a bright, colorful and crunchy salad to go with it.
So, I whipped up this Roasted Red Pepper Salad Dressing, which was the perfect compliment. 🙂
The great thing about this dressing is that it mixes up really fast. By using roasted red peppers from the jar, with a few blitzes in your food processor or blender, you have a rich, creamy, red pepper dressing that goes perfectly with Bon Appétit’s Roasted Vegetable pizza.
With the crispy vegetables in the salad, and the crispy, crunch of the thin crust on the pizza, you’ll find yourself relaxing and enjoying pizza with a glass of crisp Chardonnay wine. Nice, right?
All in under 15 minutes. Now, that’s a weeknight meal I can get on board with. 🙂

Mmm, I love mozzarella and pesto too – it’s the best! Those pizzas sound amazing, I’m definitely going to have to try them now. Loving this dressing too, there’s something so special about roasted red peppers – roasting them somehow transforms their taste and texture completely, and the jarred versions always taste great! I’ve never tried using them to make a dressing before though – that’s such a great idea! This sounds so delicious!
Kristi says
Thank you! I think you’ll love both the pizzas and the dressing. They go great together. Have a great weekend.
