These Smoked Salmon Bites with Horseradish Dill Sauce are super fast and easy to make and are a mouth-watering bite-sized appetizer that is perfect for Superbowl snacking! Get your GAME ON!
Peeps – it’s almost the weekend. I say wild parties, loud music and inappropriate behavior is in order.
You?
JK. I’ll be sittin’ at home in my yoga pants, chillin’ with a festive beverage, nom-noming on these amazing bite-size Smoked Salmon Bites with this incredible, mouth-watering Horseradish Dill Sauce. Me = buried under a warm blanket, remote control clutched tightly in hand, festive beverage at the ready.
You got me?…
Of course, I’m absolutely heart-broken that the Seattle Seahawks won’t be in the Superbowl this year, but my big plan is to watch the Big Game and cozy up with these NW inspired Smoked Salmon Bites and put my game face on.
Here’s my Game Day checklist: Seattle Seahawks t-shirt (because a girl’s still gotta represent), yoga pants, big comfy blanket, stomper (a.k.a. remote control), ice-cold festive beverage, cocktail napkin, and a big plate of these nom-nom-good Smoked Salmon Bites.
Check and check!
At least I have a plan. 🙂
Whether entertaining a crowd, or prepping some small bites for two (or moi!), I love a super fast, easy recipe that can be thrown together in less than 5 minutes, but still brings on big, bold, savory tang that makes your jaw hit the floor with it’s incredible flavor. → These are it!
These bite-sized appetizers can be layered on top of any kind of cracker. For this recipe, I chose a sweet & spicy Chipotle flavored Wheat Thin, which is what I had on hand – but they’d be equally delicious on any other cracker.
The flavor, of course, comes not from the cracker (which is only the vessel to getting it into your mouth), but from the rich flavor of the smoked salmon, and the savory horseradish dill sauce, which is simply fantastic in this simple recipe.
TRY IT, I know you will love it.
And come Game Day, you’re going to love the <5 min. prep time too. #truth #truthpeepstruth 🙂
Enjoy!

hee hee. I’ve been seeing all these articles about “big game recipes,” and I thought, “These must be re-posts…but why are there so many of them?” When I actually read an article (yours), I realized that Superbowl was already a year ago, and another one is just around the corner. Duh! Time sure flies! As you may have guessed, I am not a football person. But these smoked salmon bites look scrumptious, anyway, and I have everything to make them except the salmon, so I think I’ll buy some and give them a try. Yum! Thanks, Kristi!
