Crab & Bacon Bites
Rich, decadent crab and bacon bites - perfect little appetizers and snack bites for a party!
- 8 ounces lump crab meat
- 8 bacon slices cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg large
- 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Mix all ingredients together and mold into bite-size rounds.
Pour a scant amount of oil into the bottom of a skillet and heat on medium-high until hot. Add crab bites to skillet and cook 3 minutes per side. Be sure not to crowd the pan! Cook them in bunches if you have to.
When done, move them to a paper-towel lined plate, then serve with Tartar Sauce.
