Crab & Bacon Bites

Rich, decadent crab and bacon bites - perfect little appetizers and snack bites for a party!

  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 8 bacon slices cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard


  • Mix all ingredients together and mold into bite-size rounds.
  • Pour a scant amount of oil into the bottom of a skillet and heat on medium-high until hot. Add crab bites to skillet and cook 3 minutes per side. Be sure not to crowd the pan! Cook them in bunches if you have to.
  • When done, move them to a paper-towel lined plate, then serve with Tartar Sauce.
