Honey & Jalapeno Coleslaw

Jalapeno hot and spicy coleslaw - crispy, crunchy and flavor packed.

  • 1 8.5 ounce bag shredded coleslaw
  • 2 Roma tomatoes seeded and chopped
  • 6 green onions coarsely chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers finely chopped (see note)
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Combine all ingredients in a serving bowl and mix well. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Stir well, then serve.


I left the jalapeno seeds in to add more heat. If you want less heat, remove the seeds. Also, wear gloves when chopping the jalapenos! If your coleslaw mix comes with packaged dressing, do NOT use the packaged dressing in this recipe - you only want the shredded cabbage and carrots - not the salad dressing!
